We are using what we learned about sequences, T Charts and rules to solve word problems. Below are some problems we started working on on Thursday, but did't get a chance to work on today. I told the students to finish them over the weekend. The challenge is optional at this point and was not assigned.
Here is a sample of some of the work. Note the completed T chart and the input/output equation near the bottom. The Grade One teacher can have as big a party as she wants now!
Below you will see some of the work we have been doing in math. We are also representing number sequences in T charts and are learning that we can go beyond knowing the next term to being able to find any term using an equation. More to follow.
